Truck Helps To Support Katye's Helping Hands

Wed, May 5th, 2010 6:00:00 pm - Tonight the Tower Truck headed off to the High Pointe Blvd. Friendly's to help support Katye's Helping Hands.  Katye's Helping Hands (KHH) is a Non-Profit Organization that aims at helping children of law enforcement officer's who are killed in the line of duty.  KHH does this by building teddy bears for children under the age of 15 and mailing them directly to the fallen officers children.  If the children are 15 through college age, Katye donates a hand made tie-blankets for each surviving child.  Katye also recognizes the unborn children by sending a blanket giraffe to the fallen officers widow.  The boys from Chambers Hill Fire Company and Swatara Township Fire Co.
