NOT Everyone Goes Home Seminar and Dinner

Mon, May 24th, 2010 11:53:00 am - Tonight members traveled down the road to Lower Swatara Fire Department for an incredible seminar presented by Chief Billy Goldfeder.  Approximately 200 firefighters from all over the local area came out to have a great meal and listen to a very powerful speaker.  Chief Goldfeder spoke through audio, video and lecture on very recent structure fires and even a dumpster fire incident where firefighters have lost their lives.  He left a lasting impression in everyone's mind that was in attendance and reminded everyone "Who Is In YOUR Wallet"?  The seminar helped to point out that not everyone does always go home and what fire officers and firefighters can do to help prevent the unnecessary death of our brothers.
